Concert soprano & Jazz singer
I’ve been fortunate enough to travel the world as a singer, first as a member of the five-time Grammy® Award-winning vocal group The Swingles and latterly with world-class ensembles including Tenebrae, Synergy Vocals and London Voices. I specialise in close-mic contemporary music, whether it be classical, jazz, pop or film. In the UK I’ve performed at the Proms, Edinburgh International Festival, Glastonbury, the O2 Arena and at Ronnie Scott’s jazz club.
As one half of the jazz duo L’Estranges in the Night, I have been providing entertainment for festivals, dinners, private parties and corporate events for over twenty years. I sing a mix of jazz standards, pop songs, cabaret numbers, swung Bach (a nod to my Swingle Singers heritage) and my own songs, all accompanied by my multi-instrumentalist husband, Alexander L’Estrange (piano/double bass/guitar). Every show is tailored to the client’s wishes.
