Sing, Sing, Sing! was commissioned by Scunthorpe & District Choral Society during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown. This video is of its world premiere, on November 13th 2021.

The song’s lyrics were created from statements made by members of the Scunthorpe & District Choral Society about what it means to them to sing in choirs and how it felt not to be able to meet and sing during lockdown. One 85-year-old lady said, with a broad smile on her face, “I’ve done it all my life” which became one of the key phrases of the chorus.
